Granny times Two

On March 6th,2011 at 5:15 in the morning,I watched my daughter give birth to a precious baby girl. All went well and exceedingly quickly. Little Jedda Elizabeth Doll is doing well as are her proud parents. I was able to spend a few days helping out and plan to go back later in the month to help some more. Now I have a boy and a girl to play with. I am happy beyond belief.

Me and Jedda. Day One

This is me looking smug after not sleeping for 24 hours.

Getting ready to go

So I’m on my way to Nanaimo tomorrow to spend time with Amanda until the baby comes and will come home after she comes home. I’ve made all the arrangements,I’m half way packed and only need to finish that off and get to the store and the mailbox. Hopefully she’ll wait until I get there. Finger’s crossed and Darling, keep your legs crossed until tomorrow afternoon.

Grannyhood

Growing up,I never had a grandmother close. One was in Germany and the other was in Scotland. I was in Canada.

So not having a role model,it's all completely new to me and I LOVE IT. It's so much fun having these lovely little babies to play with. Still learning what being a Granny is all about.
