Baby Therapy

A while back my friend Marilyn had driven up Vancouver Island to attend a funeral of a close friend.  On the way back to Victoria where she lives, she stopped at my daughter’s house when I was visiting.   She and her husband were delighted to meet Mathias,my grandson, and she said it was “Baby Therapy”which helped to raise her from her grief over her lost friend.

During A Celebration of Carole's Life

Yesterday,my daughter and Matty arrived on my little island to attend the funeral and Celebration of Life of her friend and mentor,Carole who had passed away from cancer earlier in the week at the young age of 51.   Carole was involved in the Little Theatre Group here on the island and joined about the same time my daughter did.   My daughter eventually went on to study Stage Management after having much support from members of the group, especially Carole.    Here’s my baby therapy moment.

Grannyhood

Growing up,I never had a grandmother close. One was in Germany and the other was in Scotland. I was in Canada.

So not having a role model,it's all completely new to me and I LOVE IT. It's so much fun having these lovely little babies to play with. Still learning what being a Granny is all about.
